We continue to SOAR UPWARDS!

With great pleasure, we would like to share that APU attained the 5-Star (Excellent) Rating in the Emerging University category in the recent SETARA 2017 Ratings Exercise.
  
The award ceremony was held at Intercontinental Hotel Kuala Lumpur, in which our Co-Founder & CEO, Datuk Dr Parmjit Singh received the award certificate from Minister of Higher Education Malaysia, YB Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh.
 
SETARA Rating is a rating instrument for all Malaysian Universities (Public and Private) developed by the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), based on a seven-step methodology including national and international benchmarking, stakeholders’ engagement, pilot run, data verification and sensitivity and validity analysis. Four main criteria were audited by 90 senior auditors from MOHE – general, teaching and learning, research and innovation, and services. For SETARA 2017, the Ministry used information compiled in 2016. 
 
With this 5-Star attainment,  APU is placed among the top 10 emerging Malaysian Universities among 105 Malaysian universities.
